Just look at him, paying close attention to the game while he sits out with a broken clavicle. He is standing there studying his back up, rookie sensation Gardner Minshew II. He is doing this so that he can coach Minshew up and tell him what he sees but from a different perspective. And even though he’s electric, the rook better listen because Foles knows how to sling it. Just look at this dime that he dropped on the play he got injured on. If he’s going to be out, I’m glad that this is the lone highlight that we have of him.
Foles is a team guy. He is always there to provide insight and help everyone out. Even his days as a back up, he wasn’t just hanging on the sidelines. He stays locked in at all times. He’s making reads from the bench so that he knows what to look for if he gets the chance to get in the game. Right now that is impossible because he is in a sling but he is still locked in and ready to tell Minshew, who might actually be the coolest human whoever walked the earth, ways to pick apart defenses.
Nick Foles has been in the NFL since 2012. He’s played for 4 teams and he has made his mark at each stop along the way. Let’s look at the times that Foles was selfless and put the team first.
1. 7 Touchdown Game

You remember this? Back in 2013, Foles second year in the league, he went into Oakland and tossed putting on a true display with his cannon of an arm. He was such a good team mate he didn’t want any of his receivers to feel left out. So he spread the wealth. He threw TDs to Shady McCoy, DeSean Jackson, Zach Ertz, Brent Celek and uhhhh Riley Cooper… who scored 3. Yikes. But he still spread the wealth to others thats still true.
2. The Eagles Super Bowl

Obviously, right? When Carson Wentz went down in towards the end of an MVP caliber season, Foles stepped in and didn’t even miss a beat. Foles saw Wentz get hurt and thought ‘Well I guess I have to carry this team now’
And that he did.
Foles, with some help from the defense, led the Birds to their first Super Bowl, over the Patriots. It was awesome, they sang “Dreams and Nightmares” that was hype.
3. Helping his friend get elected for class president
Who can forget that one year when he helped his friend do the unthinkable, beat out the popular kids and be elected class president. He tried so hard to get it done he even learned how to dance while at the same time perfecting his craft of QB along side his Uncle Rico. The rest, as they say, is history.
4. Fruit Family

I dont really know. He’s an Avocado. His wife is a pineapple. Their baby is a strawberry. Dog is a banana?
He’s a Super Bowl MVP and he has an $80 Million dollar contract.
