The “We Hate James Harden” Fan Club Will Be Big Time Mad This Season

The NBA season is just over a month away and it cannot get here fast enough. So many different moves were made since June we and are looking at a completely different league. Superstars across the league have formed NBA Jam type duos and for the first time in years the word parity is being talked about like a real possibility. When you look down the list of teams there isn’t really a clear cut favorite. No question, this season will be filled with all sorts of mysteries and wonders. There is but only one certainty this year: The “We Hate James Harden” Fan Club Will Be Big Time Mad This Season.

They come out every year, doubling in size with each step back three, foaming at the mouth every time He steps to the line. As for this year? The haters of James Harden will be back and they will be angry.

Earlier this summer Harden told some kid that he was cooking up a new move that will for sure look like a travel but it wont actually be a travel. What he actually meant was “Idiots will complain and scream travel, but it wont be because I have nasty footwork”

When he said that the world froze. The man who perfected the double step back is going to have another new move. The man who is coming off a 36PPG season, one of the greatest scorers of all time has added something else to his arsenal.

When he hit that shot in this pick up game I just thought, ‘No way thats the move, in every pickup game across the nation someone is going to take that fade away 3 from the corner, it just so happened that it was James Harden and his shot is wet. Now when I see him in the Hoodie Melo gym getting passes from Chris Brickley I realize that this is the move.

Now look, we all know how the NBA Offseason works. It is filled with players posting videos of their workouts on IG and Twitter so that they can prove to us that they are actually working on their craft because you know the rule, “If you don’t post it, it didn’t happen.” Just ask Dame.

I know that these videos don’t mean shit. He’s shooting uncontested 3’s in a gym where J.Cole looks like 2017 Isaiah Thomas I know that these videos are just for fun and not meant to be over analyzed. I know this. That is why I get pissed off every time someone tries to designate a segment of their show to talk about Ben Simmons hitting pull up 3 pointers playing pick up in a Junior High gym in Australia because I know that he won’t even shoot a league average 35% this year. This is way different. This is James Harden that we are talking about. When I see James Harding doing these things I stop and I pay attention because I know he is capable of these things and I CANNOT wait. I can’t wait for the tweets calling that a travel, the tweets telling him he’s ruining basketball, the tweets telling him to think of the children. I can’t wait for Steven A to give his take on this move once it becomes consistent. I cannot wait. 1 month.

Harden calls for the ball screen from Capella, 10 seconds left on the shot clock Harden refuses the screen then dribbles between his legs a few times spins around and shoots a side step, one legged, fall away 3 pointer. He draws the foul call because the defense stepped into him, the shot goes in and Harden goes to the line for a 4 point play.
